Website Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of riskiq.com.au (the "Site"), operated by RiskIQ Global (Australia) Pty Ltd (ABN 94 168 553 973) ("RiskIQ", "we", "us"). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

 

1. General Information


The Site describes our approach to systemic risk, governance and decision-making. Its content, including articles, frameworks, client stories, downloads and any self-assessment or survey results, is general information. It isn't professional advice for your organisation's circumstances, and it doesn't create a client relationship.

Before you make a decision that relies on our content, get advice that fits your situation. That advice can come from us, under a written engagement, or from another qualified adviser.


Client stories describe past work, are de-identified where needed, and reflect the circumstances of that engagement. They don't promise the same result for anyone else.

 

2. Engaging us

 

Nothing on the Site is an offer to provide services. Any paid work is governed by a separate written proposal or engagement agreement, and if it conflicts with these terms, that agreement prevails.

 

3. Our content and intellectual property

 

The Site's content, including text, frameworks, diagrams, methods, the RiskIQ name and logo, and the overall design, is owned by RiskIQ or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws.

You're welcome to view, download and print content for your own information or internal use in your organisation, and to share links to our pages. You may not copy, adapt, republish, sell, or use our content or methods to build a competing product or service, or to train AI models, without our written permission. 4. Using the Site properly

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful

  • try to gain unauthorised access to the Site or the systems behind it, or interfere with how it works

  • use automated tools to scrape or harvest content or contact details

  • submit anything through our forms that is false, offensive, or that you don't have the right to share.

 

5. Information you send us

When you contact us or complete a form, please don't send confidential or sensitive information until we've agreed how it will be handled. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

 

6. Other websites

The Site may link to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

 

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Site accurate and available, but we don't promise it will always be complete, current, error-free or uninterrupted. We may change or remove content at any time.

 

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • we provide the Site "as is", without warranties of any kind

  • we aren't liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it is limited to supplying the relevant service again, or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

 

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth courts sitting there. If you use the Site from outside Australia, you're responsible for complying with your local laws.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies when you use the Site.
